TESTING SUGGESTIONS
Tawny Porto can be served fresh as an aperitif, or at the end of the meal, alone or with dessert or cheese.

TEST RESULTS
The beautiful golden color is a good indication of the age of this Tawny. With a great richness and aromatic complexity, namely almonds and spices, the 20 year old has a seductive liqueur texture. It has an incredible length of flavor, revealing an 'aristocrat' when it comes to Port wines.

PRODUCTION NOTES
Port wines from Quinta de la Rosa follow the traditional style: fermented on foot in granite presses and aged in very old wooden vats. As with the DOC Douro of this Douro house, we seek harmony and balance of our grapes in the vineyard, so that they can express themselves freely in the bottle.

QUALITY AND SAFETY-ENVIRONMENT
At Quinta de la Rosa, sustainable agriculture is practiced, certified by the entities ADVID and SATIVA. The wines do not contain, were not produced from, and do not include substances from Genetically Modified Organisms. No products from animals are used.

MATURATION AND BOTTLING
This Tawny, as the name implies, results from the mixture of Port wines with an average age of 20 years. Only wines with excellent quality are included in the blend. Each year, the grapes are harvested by hand and stepped on foot in granite mills for making Port wine, with a part being kept for stocks.

At Quinta de La Rosa, Port wines are stored and bottled in the Douro and not in Vila Nova de Gaia, as in most houses, allowing a unique trait from the grape harvest to wine in the bottle.
